English, Electrical Engineering (Finance), Biology, Psychology and Philosophy are some examples. Some universities allow you to select a minor. Minors are optional academic fields that you can choose to study alongside your major. Minors shouldn’t take as much time and effort as majors, but they usually require fewer courses. There are many majors and minors available at colleges and universities across the USA.
The US advanced education system is different from those of other countries in that students must take additional courses to their majors. Most scholars are required to take English, Math, Science, Humanities, and Social Studies, regardless of their major or minor.
